Hello. You look like a hoopy frood. My name is Jeremy. I'm a programmer residing in Orange County, California. I currently am working mainly with ROCKHARBOR church in Costa Mesa on their soon to be open source software, CORE. I also enjoy fiddling with side projects and ideas.

I spent far to long just trying to set aside time to create a blog for myself. Using CakePHP, obviously. Who blogs about CakePHP without using CakePHP? Well, actually, many excellent programmers. At any rate, I never tried hard enough to make that time and have instead settled on Croogo, an open source (yay!) blogging CMS written in the tastiest of frameworks.

In case you're wondering, here's the answer.

I am:

  • Jeremy (we went over that I think)
  • A CakePHP fanatic
  • An ever-learner of jQuery, MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, application standards and testing
  • Less knowledgeable in ASP, Regexp, BASIC, Java
  • Holding onto memories of ActionScript
  • Active (usually) in Rock Climbing, Yoga, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball
  • Absorbing quite a bit of information each day

I aspire to:

  • Be a greater person for God and people in general
  • Eventually contribute heavily to CakePHP's source
  • Travel, eat and enjoy
  • Spend more than half of my time contributing to open-source
